Your browser may flag the extension or software download as suspicious because it contains an executable. To bypass this, click the warning and choose Download suspicious file, or right-click the link and select Save link as.

Click the More info link at the end of the message. This will reveal a Run anyway button at the bottom of the screen. Click this to proceed with installation.

Your camera images are NEVER stored by Muvely or used in any way other than to provide real-time exercise feedback.
Exercise data such as time spent exercising or range of motion may be stored if desired by the user in order to provide post-workout summaries and recommendations. User data will never be sold or used for non-fitness related purposes. See our privacy policy for more details.

Yes, the extension is free to use during the current beta testing period. Once we release the public version there will be premium plans available with additional features. See our End User License Agreement for legal details.

We are working on adding features and making the browser extension available through the Chrome web store and other browser stores. We are also working on a cloud-based version that does not require a separate Muvely exercise software download. These changes will eliminate the browser and Windows warnings that currently appear.

Muvely was founded by Patrick Greene after working at Johns Hopkins for several years as a postdoctoral fellow as a way to help people get the most out of their fitness routines, including those rehabbing after surgery or an injury and struggling to maintain good form. Patrick is a triathlete, rock climber, and pilates enthusiast. Muvely is based in the Baltimore/DC area.
